I've set myself the challenge (and opportunity for mental growth) to read 52 books in 52 weeks. The clock starts ticking today... although it's a bit unfair, because my first book is 'Bangkok Haunts' by John Burdett and I'm already on page 58.
I'd like to give credit and encourage ozlady in her pursuit of the same challenge, as that's where I got the idea from.

Hi Ozlady, Yeh... it's one thing to read the books - but another to actually write reviews. It will become much harder when I re-join the corporate ranks... so better get a headstart in the next few months.

The good news is that I've finished reading my first book, and my second (all 1000 pages of 'Shantaram'). I just started my second book, and will get around to the reviews shortly. Slowly, slowly...
